Tori Spelling Updates Fans on Liam's Successful Foot Surgery and Begins the Recovery Journey
Tori Spelling recently provided an encouraging update on her
eldest son, Liam Aaron McDermott, who underwent foot surgery. In an Instagram
Story, she shared a photo of Liam preparing for the procedure, followed by a
post declaring the surgery a "success."
Expressing gratitude, Spelling identified the Thousand Oaks
Surgical Hospital as the location of the surgery and acknowledged the skill of
Liam's medical team. She later shared a snapshot of Liam alongside his
pediatrician, whom she considers part of their "family."
In a subsequent post featuring Liam's bandaged foot,
Spelling disclosed that the surgery was necessitated by a fall down the stairs
at home, resulting in a fractured navicular accessory bone in his right foot.
The procedure involved the removal of the bone and the reattachment of the
tendon to the main bone using a metal hook rod.
Acknowledging the challenges ahead, Spelling noted that the
recovery process had commenced, emphasizing a day-by-day approach. She
expressed appreciation for the outpouring of support, emphasizing its
significance in making Liam feel loved.
Apart from Liam, Spelling is a mother to Stella Doreen,
Hattie Margaret, Finn Davey, and Beau Dean. Sharing insights into her parenting
philosophy with PEOPLE, she highlighted the importance of being a child's
advocate and fostering individual interests and confidence boosters.
Attending Jingle Ball 2023 in Los Angeles with her four
younger children, Spelling reflected on the joy of spending time with them
after a challenging 2023. The family-focused event provided a meaningful break
for Spelling, who values taking each day as it comes in navigating the unique
