Fire Incident at Beyoncé's Childhood Home in Houston on Christmas Morning

In the early hours of Christmas morning, a fire broke out at Beyoncé's childhood home in Houston, located on Rosedale St. The incident, reported by KHOU 11, CW 39 Houston, and Fox 26 Houston, occurred around 2 a.m.

Quick and effective response by first responders allowed a couple and their two children, who resided in the house, to evacuate safely. Houston Fire Department (HFD) Chief Justin Barnes, speaking to KHOU 11, confirmed that no injuries were reported.

 

Firefighters, arriving within minutes, confronted flames emanating from the home's second story. The HFD informed Fox 26 that it took approximately 10 minutes to contain the blaze. To prevent the fire's spread, firefighters had to cut the roof of the house.

 

Fortunately, Beyoncé and Jay-Z were spending their Christmas holiday at their Malibu, Calif., residence during the incident.
