Enforcement Directorate Sends Notice to Gauri Khan, Red Chillies' Co-Founder

In a recent development, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has officially issued a notice to Gauri Khan, the prominent personality and co-founder of Red Chillies Entertainment, on Tuesday. Gauri Khan, also the brand ambassador of Lucknow-based real estate company Tulsiani Group, has come under scrutiny in connection with allegations of embezzlement totaling approximately Rs 30 crore from investors and banks involving the said real estate firm.

Despite the ongoing investigations, Gauri has maintained silence on the matter. However, there is a growing anticipation that she will be subject to questioning by the ED. Further details regarding the case are still pending.

 

 Gauri Khan's Professional Journey

 

On the professional front, Gauri Khan, alongside her husband, Shah Rukh Khan, co-founded the film production and distribution company Red Chillies Entertainment in 2002. Expanding her horizons, she ventured into interior design in 2010, collaborating with her close friend Sussanne Khan.

 

Gauri marked her entry into the design world with her first concept store, named The Design Cell, in 2014. Situated in Mumbai’s Worli area, the store showcases furniture designed not only by Gauri herself but also by other talented Indian designers. Subsequently, in 2017, she launched Gauri Khan Designs, her own design studio, located in Juhu.

 

It's worth noting that Gauri Khan has made noteworthy collaborations with industry giants such as Roberto Cavalli and Ralph Lauren for home accessories. Additionally, she plays a pivotal role as the producer of all the films produced under the Red Chillies banner.

Gauri and Shah Rukh Khan entered into matrimony in October 1991 in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony. Over the years, their family has grown to include three children: son Aryan (born in 1997), daughter Suhana (born in 2000), and their youngest child AbRam (born in 2013).
