In an exclusive interview with Good Morning America's Michael Strahan, George Clooney, 62, delves into the unexpected aspects of raising his 6½-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, alongside wife Amal Clooney. Contrary to conventional parenting expectations, George emphasizes the profound insight twins provide, sharing, “Twins tell you a lot.”

As a seasoned dad, Strahan, 52, who has twin daughters himself, engages in a candid conversation with Clooney about the challenges of nurturing children who, despite being raised simultaneously and similarly, evolve into distinct personalities. George muses on the limited influence parents wield, stating, “You realize how little say you have in who they are.”

The Oscar winner, also promoting his latest directorial project, "The Boys in the Boat," acknowledges the fascinating spectacle of witnessing his twins, Ella and Alexander, develop unique opinions and personalities. He notes, “They come out with an opinion, and it’s amazing to watch how different my kids’ personalities are.”

Since the birth of their twins in June 2017, George and Amal, 45, have been vocal about the remarkable differences between Ella and Alexander. George sheds light on Alexander's outgoing nature, recounting humorous anecdotes, such as the morning routine where Alexander, with comedic flair, announces himself as "Alexander Clooney."

Alexander's love for cars, while endearing, has its perilous moments, as George humorously describes the challenges of a young enthusiast hugging the family car. In contrast, Ella, according to George, maintains a reserved demeanor around adults, embodying seriousness and a commitment to rules.

Reflecting on Ella's personality, George shares insights into her fashion-forward inclinations, resembling her mother Amal. He playfully recounts Ella's escapades in her mom's closet, proclaiming items as her own. Despite her serious disposition, Ella surprises with a mischievous side, inheriting a penchant for pranks from her father.

At the Los Angeles premiere of "The Boys in the Boat," George discloses his parenting strategy during the Christmas season. Acknowledging the enduring allure of Santa for his twins, George admits to employing a clever trick. He humorously recounts calling a friend, disguised as Santa, to reprimand misbehaving kids, turning their behavior around with a touch of festive magic.

In the multifaceted journey of parenting, George Clooney encapsulates the essence of raising twins – a rollercoaster of surprises, laughter, and the constant revelation that, despite shared upbringing, each child emerges as a unique individual.
