Gisele Bündchen's Daughter Eyes Mom's Exclusive Watch Collection

Gisele Bündchen, the iconic supermodel and brand ambassador for IWC Schaffhausen, revealed an interesting dynamic with her 11-year-old daughter, Vivian, during an exclusive interview with PEOPLE on December 8 at an intimate Art Basel Miami event.

At the heart of their connection is Gisele's impressive collection of watches, with Vivian expressing a keen interest in one particular timepiece—the Ingenieur Automatic 40 model, boasting a price tag of $11,700. Gisele enthusiastically shared her admiration for this watch, emphasizing its beauty, sporty vibe, and versatile nature. However, she humorously admitted that Vivian has her eye on the collection, already inquiring about potential future ownership.

Despite Vivian not yet being allowed to borrow these coveted accessories, Gisele reassured her daughter that IWC's designs are crafted to endure, passing down through generations. "That’s what I love about these, they can pass down generations," Gisele stated, highlighting the enduring quality of these timepieces. "When you have good quality things, they last forever."

Moving beyond the realm of fashion, Gisele delved into a deeper perspective on the significance of watches, emphasizing the value of managing time as the most precious currency. This insight reflects a broader philosophy embraced by the supermodel, who recently became a resident of Miami.

During the event, where she exuded chic elegance in a camel-colored shorts-suit and nude heels, Gisele engaged in a candid discussion about her career, parenting, and more. The occasion also marked the celebration of her son Benjamin's 14th birthday.

When the conversation shifted to art and self-expression, Gisele shared her love for fashion as a means of playing different roles. "You can be saucy, or some days you’re tomboyish. Some days you want people to notice you, and some days you’re like 'please don’t look at me.' Sometimes you want to be comfortable, and sometimes you want to be fatale! There are different ways of expressing yourself."

Regarding her personal style, Gisele emphasized comfort as a top priority, expressing that she has moved beyond the era of uncomfortable dresses with corsets. Her signature look revolves around two simple yet timeless items—jeans and a T-shirt. "I’m a jeans girl. Jeans and a T-shirt—that’s my thing. I’ve been doing the white T-shirt and jeans for 30 years. It’s just so comfortable and easy."

In essence, beyond the glitz and glamour of high-end watches and fashion, Gisele Bündchen's interview unveils a relatable and grounded perspective on the enduring value of quality, the importance of time management, and the comfort that comes with embracing one's authentic style.
