Draped in a stunning vibrant yellow sarong gown from Carolina Herrera’s Resort 2024 collection, Paltrow showcased shirred puff sleeves with a ruching effect, leading to an oversized belted bow at her waist. The dress boasted a modest boat neckline and a daring thigh-high slit at its center.

Completing her ensemble, Paltrow paired the gown with yellow open-toe platform heels, accentuating her look with diamond and gold drop earrings and a selection of dainty rings. Her blonde hair was elegantly styled in a slick back bun, complementing her makeup that featured a peach-tinted lip gloss and bright mauve eyeshadow.

Reflecting on her childhood, Paltrow shared, “My mother is an actress. She did mostly theater. And so I grew up as a little girl watching her rehearse plays and running around the theater.” She added, “When she was on stage, she was the most powerful, integrated force of nature that I have ever seen. And so I wanted to be that.”

The Red Sea International Film Festival saw a gathering of Hollywood luminaries, with Halle Berry, Zoe Saldaña, Naomi Campbell, Diane Kruger, Freida Pinto, Sofia Vergara, Michelle Williams, Johnny Depp, and Will Smith all gracing the Thursday night red carpet alongside Paltrow.

Before her appearance in Saudi Arabia, the actress attended The Fashion Awards 2023 at The Royal Albert Hall in London, donned in an all-red vintage Valentino outfit. The strapless, empire-waist gown hailed from the designer’s autumn/winter 1965 couture collection, featuring a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit.

Completing the look, Paltrow adorned herself with a long, dramatic Valentino cape, matching stiletto heels, two wrist bangles, and a pair of dangle-down earrings. Sharing glimpses on her Instagram Story, including a full-length mirror selfie and a snapshot featuring her bracelet from Van Cleef & Arpels, the Se7en actress also posted a black-and-white selfie alongside Valentino co-founder Giancarlo Giammetti.
