Jeremy Renner's Anticipated Comeback to Mayor of Kingstown Season 3, a Year After Snowplow Mishap

Renowned actor Jeremy Renner is poised to make a triumphant return to the Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 set, following a harrowing snowplow accident that left him with over 30 fractures. This exciting development was hinted at in Instagram stories shared by the 52-year-old Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) star and his co-star, Emma Laird.

In a remarkable turnaround from the near-fatal incident in January, where Renner was run over by a snow-removal tractor and subsequently airlifted to the hospital, the actor recently reshared images from the Paramount+ crime thriller's set. Laird further fueled the anticipation by posting a screenshot of a news report confirming their return to the production.

 

Expressing gratitude on Instagram, Renner extended heartfelt thanks to the staff of Renown Hospital for saving his life. Recounting the challenging ordeal that led him to the intensive care unit and two emergency surgeries, he reflected on the resilience of first responders, doctors, nurses, and hospital staff.

 

"Stopped by to see kids/superheroes, first responders, and doctors, nurses, and staff at Renown hospital. Paying my respects and celebrating love, life, and the blessings it brings to us all," shared Jeremy alongside a picture of him inside a RennerVation Foundation bus.

 

The RennerVation Foundation, established by the actor, focuses on providing assistance to vulnerable children. Through a unique initiative, the organization transforms city buses into mobile carriers of community resources. This philanthropic effort aligns with Renner's commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

 

In a previous interview, the Hollywood star detailed his recovery journey, which involved several hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, IV drips, and stem cell treatments. Renner's dedication to his rehabilitation underscored his determination to resume his role as Mayor Mike McLusky in Mayor of Kingstown, a gripping series centered around the complexities of the incarceration business.
