Tragic Incident Claims the Life of Former Ballet Maestro at Minneapolis Grocery Store
In a
heartbreaking incident at a Minneapolis grocery store, a former ballet dancer
turned store clerk, Robert Skafte, 66, lost his life on Friday after being
impaled by a golf club, as reported by the Star Tribune. The police department
revealed that first responders discovered Skafte with a golf club tragically
impaled through his torso.
During the
subsequent six-hour standoff at a nearby apartment, Minneapolis police
successfully apprehended a 44-year-old suspect, although the individual's

"We are broken. Our hearts are shattered."
In a
heartfelt tribute on Facebook, Valerie Torres, a friend and fellow ballet
dancer, reminisced about Skafte, describing him as "one of the sweetest
souls to ever exist." She continued, "Robert and I danced together so
many times over the past 20 years. The entire Ballet of the Dolls family is
just devastated by what has so cruelly happened to our dear Robert. I am still
in complete shock, and it all feels like the most horrible nightmare
ever."
As the
community mourns the loss of a beloved former ballet maestro, the investigation
into the circumstances surrounding Skafte's untimely death is ongoing.
