This declaration seemed to address recent speculation about a viral clip from the Golden Globes where Gomez reportedly approached Timothée Chalamet for a photo, prompting rumors of a feud with Chalamet's girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, and a subsequent confrontation with Taylor Swift and Keleigh Teller.

 

While the story gained traction, Gomez, before her departure from Instagram, clarified the situation on E! News. Commenting on a post speculating about her conversation with Swift and Teller, Gomez explained, “Noooooo, I told Taylor about my two friends who hooked up. Not that that’s anyone’s business.”
