B.G. Takes Shots at Lil Wayne in Finesse2tymes' Latest Track 'Gangstafied'
B.G., a
former Hot Boys member, appears to have thrown shade at Lil Wayne in
Finesse2tymes' recently dropped single.
On January
5, Finesse2tymes unveiled his latest track, "Gangstafied," featuring
B.G. Toward the conclusion of his verse, B.G. labels Weezy as a
"b***h." The motivation behind B.G.'s call-out remains unclear,
especially given circulating rumors about a potential Cash Money Reunion.
B.G.'s unexpected diss towards Lil Wayne has left some fans bewildered.
"My
n***a Weezy steady touring, but he’s a b***h and it’s showing," B.G.
asserts. "I’m still a living legend, don’t act like you didn’t know
it."
The
43-year-old rapper regained freedom in September, concluding an 11-year stint
for illegal gun possession. Birdman warmly welcomed him back into the Cash
Money fold, even discussing plans for a Cash Money Reunion tour in response to
appeals from Mannie Fresh and Juvenile. Given Birdman's past efforts to
reconcile with Lil Wayne, many assumed that any lingering issues had been
resolved. However, B.G.'s recent diss suggests otherwise.
"B.G.
taking a shot at Lil’ Wayne is disappointing," expressed a fan on
X/Twitter. "If it's related to the tour, a Hot Boy reunion doesn't make
sense. It's not 1999, and Wayne isn't the little guy anymore. He's a mega star
now."
As of now,
Lil Wayne has not issued a response. View the official music video for
