Florence Pugh Faces Unexpected Incident at 'Dune: Part Two' Panel

Florence Pugh found herself in an unexpected moment at the Comic-Con event in São Paolo, Brazil, where she, along with co-stars Timothée Chalamet, Austin Butler, and Zendaya, was attending a Dune: Part Two Panel. While capturing photos with her fellow actors, an unidentified object was thrown and struck her face.

Videos circulating on social media capture the incident, though the nature of the thrown object remains unclear. In the footage, Pugh can be heard expressing what appears to be surprise, exclaiming "Oh wow," as she reaches down to retrieve the object from the ground.

Before this unforeseen incident, Pugh had shared her enthusiasm for working on the film during the panel. Reflecting on her experience, she remarked, "I had an amazing time coming in and just hanging around with these people, let alone actually getting to work with them. Coming in here—the power in this room—is because of that first movie, and we felt that when we went on set every single day. So it feels really, really special being here with the second one."

Despite the apparent lack of significant harm to Pugh, it's worth noting that others in similar situations have not been as fortunate. In a previous incident in June, Bebe Rexha faced injury when struck in the face by a flying cell phone, necessitating stitches.
