It's emphasized that a significant factor influencing his retirement is the internal shifts that unfolded post-Endeavor acquisition. One source noted that Dunn was resolute in not adhering to directives imposed on him, unlike his prior hands-on approach to production oversight. Importantly, this decision is portrayed as not stemming from creative differences but rather from conflicting visions on how TV production should be streamlined, aligning with WWE's new ownership's cost-cutting endeavors.
