With remarkable precision, Rennie embarks on a drum solo, perfectly in sync with the accompanying music. Nearby, his father watches with evident pride from a comfortable couch.

 

In the caption, Foster expressed his excitement, stating, "❗️ Drumming into the new year ❗️#still2yearsold." This captivating display of talent is not the first time the couple has shared glimpses of their son's musical prowess.

 

Last October, Katharine McPhee Foster, known for her role in Smash, posted a video of Rennie showcasing his rhythmic skills. Barefoot and wearing noise-canceling headphones, the 2-year-old played the drums, prompting his mother to humorously declare, "Coming for ya @travisbarker," hinting at potential competition with the Blink-182 drummer.

 

During a 2022 interview with PEOPLE, the celebrity couple discussed their son's budding musical abilities. David Foster commented on the uncertainty of whether Rennie's interest in drumming would persist, humorously expressing a preference for a tennis racket over a drumstick. Despite this uncertainty, the parents acknowledged their son's admiration for the renowned drummer JR Robinson.

 

In another interview with Entertainment Tonight, Katharine McPhee Foster reiterated Rennie's fascination with drums and the arts. However, they emphasized his young age, making it challenging to predict if he would pursue a musical path like his talented parents.
