Unveiling the Majestic Alliance in 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' Trailer

Returning to the director's chair, Adam Wingard ensures a seamless continuation of the MonsterVerse narrative, with familiar faces like Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle reprising their roles. Adding to the ensemble is the talented Dan Stevens, known for collaborating with Wingard in the thriller 'The Guest' (2014), taking on a pivotal role in 'The New Empire.'

 

Joining the cast are new talents Fala Chen, Alex Ferns, and Rachel House, contributing to the depth of the MonsterVerse. The screenplay, a collaborative effort by Terry Rossio, Simon Barrett, and Jeremy Slater, promises a captivating storyline that ventures beyond the boundaries of previous installments.

 

'The New Empire' marks the fifth cinematic venture in the MonsterVerse franchise, following the footsteps of 'Godzilla' (2014), 'Kong: Skull Island' (2017), 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' (2019), and the explosive 'Godzilla vs. Kong' (2021). Originally scheduled for March 15, 2024, the release date for 'The New Empire' was shifted to April 12, 2024, heightening the anticipation for this monumental collaboration between Godzilla and Kong.
