Having just completed reading the season 3 scripts, Rothwell confidently states, "White Lotus is set to give you a run for your money," expressing her enthusiasm for the new installment of Mike White's acclaimed HBO drama.

As the actress and writer, who initially portrayed Belinda in season 1, shares insights, she tantalizingly hints at the suspense, stating, "I can't confirm or deny" whether her character will take center stage. Yet, she assures, "it's an excellent season, and people are going to be very pleased."

In addition to her role in 'The White Lotus,' Rothwell also graces the screen as Piper Benz in 'Wonka,' recounting her experience with PEOPLE. She emphasizes how she had the opportunity to infuse her own style into the character. "I understood the world because of the previous iterations of the story, and so that was incredible to do and play," Rothwell reveals. Describing Piper's strength, she notes, "The DNA is just strong. I remember walking in for the costume fittings, and they had pictures of Rosie the Riveter up, and I was like, ‘Oh, I got this.’"

Reflecting on her character's costume fitting, Rothwell expresses excitement, aiming to portray female strength and resourcefulness. "She's so no-nonsense," she says of Piper. "But she's also down to help out. So it's really cool to be a part of that process and conversation with Lindy [Hemming], the costume designer."

Addressing the challenges of participating in the movie musical, Rothwell acknowledges it was on a different level and scale. Despite this, she approached it day by day and commends the supportive cast and ensemble. "It was just a really wonderful environment that Paul [King] created to get the best out of us. So I felt really safe to take risks and play."

Mark your calendars for the theatrical release of 'Wonka' on Friday, Dec. 15, and stay tuned for 'The White Lotus' Season 3, where Natasha Rothwell promises a captivating experience that will undoubtedly leave viewers satisfied.
