Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Obama shared, "Here are some of my favorite songs from this year. Let me know if there are any artists or songs I should check out." Eager followers promptly chimed in, pointing out noteworthy singers and songs that hadn't found a spot on the playlist.

 

Notably, Boygenius, with their captivating track "Not Strong Enough," had secured a place on Obama's 2023 summer playlist, adding an extra layer of diversity to his musical preferences.

 

This isn't the first time Barack Obama has unveiled his musical selections; he had previously released a playlist in 2022, featuring artists like Lizzo, Rosalía, Ari Lennox, Ethel Cain, Steve Lacy, and Omar Apollo.
